Reimagining The Little Match Girl

Today I’m reblogging. That’s something like retweeting, right?

In the course of following an online discussion of fanfic via Mary Robinette Kowal, I found a link to Leonard C. Suskin’s blog, Confessions of a Pixel and ink-stained wretch. Is that a swell name for a blog, or what? At the tail end of his post about fanfic in general, he offers a piece of fanfic he wrote, set in Mary Robinette Kowal’s Glamourist Histories world. It is a lovely story, a beautiful tribute to both Mary Robinette Kowal and Hans Christian Andersen, and perfect for this time of year. So I’m using this post to share his thoughts and his story. Hope you enjoy it!
